AdmissionsThe admissions committee takes a comprehensive approach in evaluating applications, considering the application package in its entirety. Upon receipt of your complete application and all supporting documentation, we will contact you to arrange an on-campus interview with the admissions committee. The interview lasts approximately one hour and takes place on campus. Each applicant is required to complete an interview.
Application and FeeApplicants must complete the online application form. Submit your application before July 1, 2012 to take advantage of a $0 application fee. There is a $150 application fee for applications submitted after July 1, 2012. The application deadline for the Class of 2014 is November 1, 2012. Applications received after October 15, 2012 are required to submit a $1500 non-refundable deposit in order to hold their spots and are accepted on a space available basis. Once accepted to the program, a $2,500 deposit towards your tuition is required and is non-refundable after December 1, 2012. Personal ResumeAn updated copy of your resume listing work experience and career progression. Applicants should have at least 7 years professional experience. Average amount of experience is 12 years. College TranscriptsContact all educational institutions you have attended and request two official transcripts of all degree course work completed (both undergraduate and graduate) be sent directly to Mara McKee at the address provided below. *Transfer credit appearing on another school’s transcript does not constitute an official record and will not be accepted. If you have transcripts sent to you they must be sent to Mara McKee in their original sealed envelopes. Transcripts not received in their original sealed envelope will not be accepted. Note: Transcripts for course work or degrees received from The Ohio State University can be obtained internally by the EMBA program. Recommendation Forms (3)Please arrange to have three professional recommendations prepared by persons familiar with your qualifications and potential for graduate study. One of these recommendations should be completed by your immediate supervisor. Each recommender must complete the form and return it to you in a sealed, signed envelope for inclusion with your application package. Employer SponsorshipPlease ask your employer to provide a company letter of support on company letterhead. Endorsement of your candidacy by your employer is a critical factor in the admission decision and must include an explicit commitment of financial resources (if applicable). Statement of self nominationPlease tell us in a brief 1-2 page statement why you want to enter the Fisher EMBA program, and how you expect enrollment will impact the demands of your professional and personal responsibilities and schedule. Organizational chart and annual reportTo help the admissions committee understand your professional responsibilities and the nature of your organization, please include a copy of your company’s organizational chart showing your position in the organization. If possible please also include a copy of your company’s annual report (url is fine). If your firm is private and does not distribute either an org chart or annual report, please be sure to indicate. InterviewEligible applicants are expected to participate in an on-campus interview to review your academic as well as your managerial experience and your academic preparation for the program. Be prepared to describe projects you have handled that demonstrate your management skills. You will be contacted by the program manager regarding the interview once a complete application packet is submitted. GMATSome candidates may be asked to take the GMAT if their undergraduate GPA is below a 3.0 or for other reasons. If this is required, please have the test scores sent directly to the Fisher College of Business, School Code #ZLJ-9D-47.
