Ian W. McLeod
Ian is a third year honors student at The Ohio State University majoring in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Economics at the Fisher College of Business. In addition, Ian is enrolled in Ohio State’s Honors Program and the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program, where he has earned certification in the financial analysis program, DealMaven. He is also currently in the process of earning his Bloomberg certification.
Ian is actively involved in student business organizations including the Undergraduate Finance Association where he serves as the Vice President of Marketing. In this position, he is responsible for marketing events for premier finance companies. Ian is also serving as the Vice President of Investment Research for Buckeye Capital Investors where he researches New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ companies to discuss during meetings.
During the summer of 2007, Ian interned at Merrill Lynch in the Global Private Client Division on Fifth Avenue in New York City. During this internship, he conducted investment research and analysis on equity and mutual fund companies and other potential investment vehicles in domestic and emerging markets. In addition, he assisted the Managing Director and Vice Presidents in the daily operations of business through the use of Bloomberg and Merrill Lynch’s extensive wealth platform software.
