Luke A. DiTomas
Luke is a third year honors student at The Ohio State University where he is pursuing his degree in finance. In the winter of his second year, Luke was accepted into The Fisher College of Business Honors Cohort Program. This year long program emphasizes teamwork within its members, while pushing them academically. Luke is also a member of the Fisher Futures Investment Banking Program and is working towards becoming certified by DealMaven in financial modeling. At the start of his second year, Luke was a founding member of The Ohio State University Powerlifting Club. Luke was responsible for obtaining funding for the club from the University. He continues to be responsible for all the finances of the club.
During the summer of 2007, Luke worked as an intern at AmTrust Bank where he gained valuable experience in numerous areas of the banking industry. Among the projects that were assigned to him, Luke constructed trend analysis reports, built forecasting models for branch expenses and created a reference manual for the branch sales compensation plan. Also, Luke was selected by senior bank officials to conduct research for an investment arbitration case. Prior to this experience, Luke worked at Barrington Golf Club for the past seven summers, most recently as the men’s locker room assistant manager. While at Barrington, Luke was responsible for managing and training the locker room staff.
