Fisher Futures
Pinank C. Patel
Pinank Patel is a junior business student at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business. He is double majoring in Finance and Real Estate with a minor in Economics. At Fisher, Pinank is currently enrolled in Fisher Futures, a program aimed at developing students’ careers in the Investment Banking industry. Pinank has also been accepted into the Honors Cohort Program.
Outside of the classroom, Pinank is Vice President of Finance for the Fisher Citizenship Program, an organization that seeks to foster student involvement within the Fisher Community through the development of core business values. This year, Pinank will also be the Director of Programming for the Fisher Real Estate Society.
During the summer of 2006, Pinank interned at Hersha Hospitality, a Real Estate Investment Trust based in Philadelphia. As a Finance Intern in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group, Pinank created financial models to evaluate the profitability for a $650 million acquisition. This past summer, Pinank interned at Johnson & Johnson for the Capital and Fixed Assets Group. In this role, Pinank oversaw Capital Appropriation Requisitions, which included creating accounting strings for capital projects and communicating financial statement implications to Business Partners.
