Rakaan Kayali
Rakaan is a junior at the Ohio State University majoring in Finance and Economics. Since his admittance to the Fisher College of Business in 2006, Rakaan’s academic achievements have earned him a Trustees Scholarship, and a membership in the international honor society Beta Gamma Sigma. In the spring of his sophomore year, Rakaan pledged to the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. As a member of the fraternity he is involved in planning and coordinating professional and fundraising events on a weekly basis. Rakaan is also a member of the Fisher Real Estate Society; he participates in presentations and networking events by real estate professionals.
Beginning with the summer of 2007 and extending until the present, Rakaan has worked as a Customer Service Representative for National City Bank. In his position, he has sold loans, CDs, and numerous types of bank accounts. He is also advised the bank’s customers on the most advantageous bank products for them based on their needs and assets. In addition, Rakaan is responsible for executingall banking transactions in compliance with standard policies, procedures, and audit guidelines. He is also manager of his own stock market portfolio.
